Moving Files in Google Drive

For many organizations that I work with, we have a system of folders in Google Drive to show which step of the process a certain document is in. To move a document to the next step in the process, you move the document to the next folder. I am often working in the online interface, and it is really annoying to have to move the document up one directory and then back down into a different directory. The Vendor Dilemma

I was at a conference (note, this post has been purposefully delayed an unspecified amount of time because I am not interested in shaming the specific company nor causing any negative press for the conference, this is just me getting some thoughts out). There was one time slot where I wanted to take a break from talks, so I headed over to the vendor area. The room wasn’t very busy since most people were in talks, so I figured this would be a great time to talk to the vendors and ask a lot of questions. I was surprised, though, at how difficult it was to get any vendors to talk to me.

Deleted Files in Dropbox, but Space on Hard Drive Still Full

I was recently working on clearing out some space on my hard drive. I had some large files in Dropbox that I wanted to keep in Dropbox, but no longer wanted to sync to my computer. I went in to Dropbox and created a new folder that did not sync to my computer and moved the large files into it. As my computer synced with Dropbox, the files were removed from my computer, but I did not see any space freed up in my hard drive storage.
